As I'm sure you've already seen, excessively large graphics and/or complex tabled pages can either help or hinder the enjoyment or navigation of a web site.  Whether personal or commercial, it can also be a determining factor in how long a viewer or prospective client stays at your site.

    Not only do I optimize all web graphics (thereby reducing the file size), I also hand-code all html so as to keep those file sizes down as well.  All in all, you wind up with a web site that is easy to navigate, and downloads from the server quickly. These two items combine to make the viewing experience more pleasant for the viewer and more rewarding for the web site owner.

    This does not mean that I will only produce low-resolution, low bandwidth images. I work with the client in order to ensure that their web site needs are fulfilled.

    Photographs, letterhead or logos supplied by the client can be scanned and edited as needed for inclusion  into the web site.  Images  that are intended  for internet/intranet display are saved in either .jpg or .gif format.  Should the client have graphics needs that fall outside the display on web pages and computer monitors, image files can be saved in other formats as needed.
